We want every client to feel sure before they spend anything — that's why you see your website before you pay. Custom creative work takes real time at every step, so once you've decided to go ahead, the rules below apply. They're part of our Terms of Service and your signed Service Agreement.
1. Our guarantee: see it before you pay
HRDM builds a preview of your website first. You don't pay anything until you've seen it, and looking at a preview creates no obligation. If you don't want to go ahead, just tell us — you owe nothing, and the preview stays with HRDM.
2. The deposit is non-refundable
If you like the preview, you sign the Service Agreement and pay a deposit, and the full build starts. The deposit is non-refundable — not for a change of mind, a change of plans, a change in your business, or a delay on your side. It covers the time we reserve for your project and the work we start right away.
3. Backing out before we publish
You can back out any time before the final publish. Just tell us in writing (email is fine).
- You lose the deposit and any payments you've already made.
- You owe nothing more for the rest of the project.
- HRDM keeps all the work, files and rights to anything you haven't paid for in full — the preview, designs, code, copy we wrote, graphics and layouts. You can't use, copy or publish it, or have someone else recreate it, unless you pay for it in full.
- Your own logo, photos and text that you gave us stay yours.
If a project stalls because we can't reach you for 60 days after we've followed up, we may close it; that counts as backing out.
4. Final payment, publish, and all sales final
To publish your website, you pay the final balance or complete your payment plan. Once your website is paid in full and published, all sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, take-backs or "I changed my mind" after that point, because custom creative work takes real time at every step and can't be "returned."
Changes you'd like after publish are welcome — they're paid work, priced by the size of the change and quoted before we start (pay as you go).
5. Payment plans
- A payment plan costs more in total than paying in full.
- If a plan payment is missed, we may pause the work or take the website offline until you catch up.
- Your website is yours once the plan is complete. Until then, HRDM owns it.
- Stopping plan payments counts as backing out: payments already made are not refunded.
6. Custom physical and printed items
Business cards, prints, signage, T-shirts and other merchandise are made to order just for you, so they are final once you approve them for production. Changing your mind is not a defect. Please check every proof carefully before approving — spelling, phone numbers, prices, colours and sizes. Small colour differences between a screen and ink or fabric are normal.
If an item arrives with a genuine manufacturing defect or shipping damage, tell us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we'll arrange a reprint or replacement of the affected items (our choice).
7. Digital assets
Logos, graphics, video, ad creative, digital menu boards, social graphics and similar digital work are final once delivered and paid for.
8. Add-ons and other services
Add-ons and integrations (online ordering, DoorDash or Uber Eats, booking, shops), SEO, maintenance, and automation or AI tools setup are quoted separately and are final once the work is done and paid for. Fees charged by third parties — domains, platforms, apps, printers — follow those companies' own refund rules.
Discounts. A discount lowers the price on your quote. It does not change any rule on this page. The deposit is still non-refundable, and all sales are still final once your work is paid in full and published. What you paid is the amount on your quote after the discount.
9. Hosting
Hosting with HRDM is optional and costs $10 per month, for hosting only. It's billed month to month: you can cancel hosting for future months at any time, and a month already paid is not refunded.
10. If HRDM ends a project
If HRDM chooses to stop a project for reasons that aren't your fault, we'll refund what you paid for work we haven't delivered. If a project ends because of non-payment, a breach of our Terms, or abusive behaviour, payments are not refunded.
11. Questions and disputes
If something isn't right, please contact us first — we'll work with you to sort it out. Your signed Service Agreement, our Terms and the approvals you gave at each step (preview approval, design and proof approvals, payments and publish) record what was agreed and delivered, and we'll share them with your bank or payment provider if a charge is disputed.
